Spray Tan
Sunless Spray Tanning
A
spray tan
is a great way to get a perfect looking tan
instantly. As with other
sunless tanning
methods the active ingredient with spray tanning
is dihydroxyacetone, or DHA.
DHA
is a non-toxic colorless sugar which gives us the
tan color. Typically a spray tan can last up to 5
or 7 days, after which it begins to fade as the
skin is naturally sloughed off.
Airbrush tanning,
spray tan booths, and
aerosol tanning
are three ways to enjoy
spray tanning.
However, those who enjoy sunless tanning at home
typically use
airbrush tanning or
aerosol tanning
such as
spray-tan-in-a-can.
For those new at spray tanning, purchasing an
airbrush tanning system
for the home may be a little steep. Instead
aerosol tanning sprays are available for those who
are new to spray tanning. These sprays are an
effective way to introduce yourself to spray
tanning, and very effective for your first
spray tan.
