Benefits of Indoor Tanning Lotion
Indoor Tanning
When
tanning indoors,
the heat from the
tanning beds
can dry the skin out, depriving it of moisture. To
avoid this dryness use indoor tanning
lotion. Indoor tanning lotion hydrates the
skin and provides it with much needed nutrients.
As well these lotions contain tyrosine, a chemical
which promotes the production of melanin - the
skin pigment which gives us color.
It may seem that indoor tanning lotion is
an unneeded expense, but in the long run it
benefits your skin in two ways. The first benefit
is obvious, as discussed above,
indoor lotion
hydrates the skin and provides it with nutrients
to promote tanning. The second benefit isn't so
obvious, but because the tanning lotion
accelerates tan development, less UV exposure is
needed. With less UV exposure there's a reduced
chance of wrinkles and premature aging.
In addition to using indoor tanning lotion, a
quality
daily moisturizer or
tan extender
will help preserve the length of a tan. While you
could continue to use
tanning lotion
as a daily moisturizer, this wouldn't be very
economical. Typically
tanning lotions
are much
more expensive than moisturizers or tan extenders.
