What To Do After Tanning - Moisturize!

There are two types of moisturizers, those
specifically formulated for tanners and those for
general use. Tanning moisturizers are geared to
tanners and are referred to as tan extenders. Tan
extenders contain specific ingredients for
nourishing tanned skin and aiding in the formation
of melanin, the pigment which gives us color.
Unlike (some) general use
moisturizers,
tan extenders don't contain harsh chemicals such
as exfoliators or skin lightening ingredients.

Tan extenders are critical for
moisturizing tanned skin
and helping to prolong a healthy golden tan. Some
tan extenders can even be used for tanning
preparation, as
tanning accelerators,
and as
after tanning moisturizers - all in one bottle!
